Quest Challenges

You are invited to participate in pre-event quests that will help your fellow attendees as they navigate the journey to #1.

Participate in these challenges and you will be awarded points that will count toward your individual and overall team points.

How To Play:

  • Make sure you are registered for the event
  • Review the pre-event challenges below
  • Start working on your challenges now!
  • When you're ready to submit a challenge, log into your account and continue to the Quest Challenges page
    • Players must be registered for the event to log into the link below. 
    • During registration, you'll create a password that will allow you to log in and access the Quest Submission page.

Challenge 1:

Getting the Team Ready

  • Team Points Value:  50
  • Last Day to Complete: October 15, 2024
  • Who Can Participate:  
    • Anyone!  Remote or attending LIVE but you must be registered.
  • Why you are questing:  
    • Our quest will cause us to rely on each other to succeed.  Your thoughtful response to the question below will be shared anonymously with the RevolutionLIVE team to help spark discussion and help your fellow teammates worldwide in our common Quest to make Lenovo Workstations #1.
  • Your quest:  
    • Please tell us your best practice for selling, supporting the sales teams, managing your day, streamlining your job, or any other tip you use to succeed.  
    • 100 word maximum.

Challenge 2:

Lecture Time!

  • Team Points Value:  75 for each video
  • Last Day to Complete: October 15, 2024
  • Who Can Participate:  
    • This is a sales-oriented challenge best for Sales Reps or people directly involved with customers!  You can be a remote sales attendee or attending LIVE but you must be registered.
  •  Why you are questing:  
    • Mastering the art of the three scenarios below are critical in our Quest for #1.  Stepping out of our comfort zone is often difficult but we know there are lots of experts out there in sales/customer focused roles.
  • How to quest:  
    • Submit a 15- to 30-second video explaining your best practice for one of the challenges below.
    • You may submit up to five (5) videos but each video should focus on only ONE of the topics below at a time.  
    • Recommended file type: MP4
  • Your quest options (you may quest multiple times to cover all sub-quests):
    1. Solution Selling: As a group we need to move away from specs and towards workflow solutions in our discussions with customers. How do you prep? How do you approach the customer? How to you steer the conversation to solutions? Other ideas???
    2. Acquiring Accounts: Current customers are our bread and butter and we want to keep them! BUT to succeed in our Quest for #1 we MUST acquire new accounts – either from the competition, from upsell, or from new businesses that have just started. How do you find accounts? How do you cold call? How do you drive your first meeting? Other ideas???
    3. Saving Time in the Sales Cycle: This is always crucial! It’s hard not to get bogged down in the process when you really want to be moving on to the next sale. How do you save time working with the customer? Managing your day? Tracking the order? Ensuring delivery? Other ideas???

Challenge 3:

Show Time!

  • Team Points Value:  100
  • Last Day to Complete: October 15, 2024
  • Who Can Participate:  
    • This is a sales-oriented challenge best for Sales Reps or people directly involved with customers!  You can be a remote sales attendee or attending LIVE but you must be registered.
  • Why you are questing:  
    • Solution Selling is where it’s at but it can be challenging (see also Challenge 2!) so we want you to change your mindset 
  • Your quest
    • Submit a 30-second "elevator pitch" video where you sell an PX to a kindergarten class – the students, not the teacher!

Team Challenge:

Show us the path you take to complete a Team Quest!

  • Team Points Value:  500
  • Last Day to Complete: October 15, 2024
  • Who Can Participate:  
    • Any Lenovo team!  Get your organization team together or create a new team!
  • Why are your questing:
    • To help you and your team think outside the box!  You can be serious or fun and are encouraged to let your imagination run wild!  Just remember to follow Lenovo’s code of conduct when you are creating your video
  • How to Quest:  
    • Carefully review the Team Challenge instructions in the link below and submit your video using the upload field below.
  • Your quest
    • Submit a 60- to 90-second video using the guidelines in the Team Quest Instructions and Team Quest FAQs below.
    • You must also submit a ‘Team Quest Submission Form’ (see button below).
