As the Director of Community Engagement of Apparel and General Merchandise at GS1 US, Amy Reiter leads the GS1 US Apparel and General Merchandise Initiative, a collaborative industry group that works to solve supply chain and e-commerce challenges using GS1 Standards. She guides the implementation of these standards to help industry improve product information accuracy, inventory visibility and supply chain efficiency to drive successful omni-channel strategies and innovation.

Prior to joining GS1 US, Ms. Reiter was most recently vice president, business solutions management at the Hudson’s Bay Company, where she managed multiple teams based in the U.S., Canada and India. She led the successful implementation of several systems including demand planning forecasting systems, robotic process automation, and converted the company’s merchant planning applications and processes for each of the company’s four banners: Lord and Taylor, Saks 5th Avenue, Saks Off 5th, and Hudson’s Bay. Ms. Reiter also held several merchandising, planning, and allocation positions with Lord and Taylor, where she was responsible for systems administration and reporting, including the use of EDI and other GS1 Standards.

She earned her bachelor of science in accounting from the Pennsylvania State University.
