As the Director of Business Applications for the Supply Chain and Shared Services at Intermountain Healthcare, Cynthia is responsible for Supply Chain systems and data lifecycle management. Through Cynthia’s leadership, Intermountain took ownership of their GLNs in 2009 and now has a very proactive maintenance and reconciliation strategy with suppliers. Intermountain is capable of utilizing GLN and GTIN in all of their EDI transactions. In addition, Cynthia has implemented tools to scan and capture the full UDI information throughout the supply chain processes. Cynthia is also leading a project that is capitalizing on existing integration with Surgical Services and Cardiovascular systems to incorporate the UDI capture with the EHR. Cynthia also has responsibility for the systems to support asset lifecycle management. She is currently collaborating with this team to incorporate UDI with medical asset tracking.

Cynthia brings over 25 years health care supply chain experience. She participates in the Healthcare Transformation Group (HTG), GS1 work groups and leadership team, and other industry forums to promote industry standards and implementation of leading practices.
