Shiv has been involved in DSCSA matters since 2017. His role with Apotex focuses on managing a cross functional team to ensure systems and processes are in place to meet existing and emerging serialization requirements around the world. The cross functional team includes roles in Quality Compliance, Manufacturing/Distribution Operations, Regulatory Affairs , Legal , Customer Support and Information Technology. Over the last year, Shiv’s role has expanded to have global oversight of logistics processes which include Receiving, Shipping, Sampling and Inventory Management.
Shiv is an active participant in various DSCSA related industry groups and is a member of the Association for Accessible Medicines (AAM) Supply Chain Task Force, GS1 US Rx Secure Supply Chain, Pharmaceutical Distribution Security Alliance (PDSA), and is sitting on the Board of Directors for the Partnership for DSCSA Governance (PDG).
