Scott Mooney is Vice President of Distribution Operations - Traceability at McKesson Corporation. Scott is leading McKesson's enterprise wide implementation of the US Drug Supply Chain Security Act. Scott has been in this role with McKesson since 2013. In implementing the DSCSA McKesson is strongly supportive of the use of GS1 standards for product identification and the use of GS1's EPCIS standard for the sharing of DSCSA required data.

Prior to Scott's current role he previously held roles at McKesson as Vice President Distribution Operations for the North Central Region, Distribution Center Manager and Regional Controller.

Scott is active in GS1 serving a co-chair of the GS1 Global Healthcare Leadership Team since 2015 and is a member of the GS1 US Healthcare Executive Leadership Committee. Scott is a member of the Board of Directors of the Partnership for DSCSA Governance, and the Healthcare Distribution Alliance Traceability Implementation Workgroup.
