Lynn Connolly is the Director of Product Management and Development for CarbonML.org an ecosystem defining CarML, an open-source messaging language standard for product and services transactional messages that include CO2e declarations and offsets at any point along the supply chain. www.carbonml.org. She is also the founder of Harbor Peak LLC providing business innovation and strategy, systems design and development, and risk management for environmental solutions. She designs products, models and processes related to climate change mitigation and adaptation incorporating blockchain, IoT, and AI technologies. Prior to Harbor Peak, Lynn had over 20 years in financial services providing advisory services to some of the largest global financial institutions in the areas of portfolio analyses, risk management and compliance, and due diligence of real assets in industries including energy, infrastructure, real estate, consumer goods, and technology. Other work includes serving as Director of Research for FFI Solutions evaluating trends, companies, and projects and their associated climate and/or environmental impacts. Lynn has an extensive technology background as a product manager, systems architect and designer. More recently she has managed teams in blockchain usage, token design, and fullstack application development. She has led large scale projects in backend enterprise database solutions through business intelligence UI/UX, operational processing systems, and financial risk and valuation models among others. Lynn co-authored the whitepaper “The Missing Link: How a Distributed Ledger System Can Support Global Climate Action.” She has served on working groups for technical climate change solutions, and for natural capital developing a working paper on defining a water risk factor for portfolio analysis. She is published in the areas of risk management and valuation, is a speaker at industry events, and has held training sessions for companies globally. Lynn has a Series 65 License, Uniform Investment Advisor Law Examination. She holds a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
