Sorangel Salcedo is an Administrator, Supplier Portal & GDSN steward for Gordon Food Service. Her responsibilities include systems and data integration projects, leader and product innovation owner of Gordon Food Service Supplier Portal. Her career in foodservice began two decades ago when she began working in restaurants at an early age – then became the Business Manager of a popular grocery store name in West Michigan. Sorangel began her career at Gordon Food Service in April of 2018, where she successfully led and launched our newly established supplier portal called Supplier Central recently rebranded to Gordon Supplier Plus. In addition, she is the product owner and administrator of GDSN, strategically worked and collaborated with internal and external partners accomplishing a successful migration of datapools. In addition to her daily responsibilities, Sorangel is the Diversity Equity & Inclusion chair, with a growing team of 11 passionate individuals, leading the company’s Home Office DEI efforts.
