Hien is responsible for transforming Product Master Data Management and enabling Superior Retail Execution by driving holistic End-2-End Sell-In, Set-Up, and Execution Readiness across P&G’s 11 key business units and all retail customers in the US, which accounts for ~44% of P&G Global Sales.
She joined P&G in 2006 and has served in customer-facing sales and internal-facing strategy & planning roles across P&G’s business units and customers. From May ‘18 to June ‘22, Hien led P&G’s Midwest Region across various accounts: Meijer, HEB, Wegman’s, AWG, Hy-Vee and SpartanNash. Under her leadership, the business grew 12%, $133 million in Net of Sales to P&G Portfolio behind strategic Joint Business Plans.
Hien is a diversity and inclusion leader within the company, the consumer goods industry, and across Western Michigan. She served on P&G’s Corporate Asian Pacific American Leadership Team, as CoExecutive Chair of NextUP Michigan Chapter, and as a member of Western Michigan University Food Marketing Conference Board. Currently Hien is the Treasurer for Cincinnati Our Lady of LaVang Catholic Church.
In 2017, Hien was recognized by P&G as a Great Manager of Others and in 2018, she was recognized by Progressive Grocer as a Rising Star and inducted into the 2018 Class of Top Women in Grocery.
Hien graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in Economics and B.S. in Business Administration. She was born and raised in Vietnam before moving to California in 1994 and currently resides in Cincinnati, Ohio, with her husband Charles and daughters Allie and Adalynn.
