Speaker Bio
Katie-Gray Jackson is a designer and strategist who has followed a technology focused career path since graduating from NC State University's College of Design in 2018. Today, Katie-Gray is the Design Strategy and Communications Lead at Lenovo in Research Triangle Park, NC, where she has just returned from presenting at Lenovo’s EMEA Retail Executive Forum in Milan, Italy.
In her role, she is most passionate about ideas and brings teams together to act on new research and insights that impact Lenovo's products’ sustainability, inclusivity, and user experiences. She believes that taking an iterative (and fun!) approach to design can only increase the potential global impact of smarter technology for all.
Before joining Lenovo, Katie-Gray spent four years at Red Hat where she applied the practice of collaborative design thinking towards communications and storytelling design. She is also a board member of the Raleigh-Durham chapter of the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA).
